Muzaffargarh
Around 3,000 employees risk losing their jobs as the government has decided to close down a thermal power house at Muzaffargarh having the capacity to generate 1,350 megawatts of electricity, it was learnt on Friday.
Quoting sources, the channel reported that the power station would come to a complete halt in 2022.
The sources further said the stock of furnace oil at the power station had been below dead level for the last one year.
While the station’s units no 1, 2 and 3 are functional, the generator of unit no 4 has not been functioning for the last one year.
