In occupied Kashmir, Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League, Farooq Ahmed Tawheedi, has expressed concern over the continued detention of Kashmiri political detainees in various Indian jails and demanded their immediate release to save them from coronavirus.
Farooq Ahmad Tawheedi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Indian government was well aware that Hurriyat leaders and activists had been fighting for their legitimate right to self-determination for the last seven decades and they wanted the settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per the UN resolutions.—KMS
