KARACHI – JDC Foundation Pakistan has taken a commendable step by opening the country’s first-ever free diagnostic centre in Karachi, providing free-of-charge diagnostic services to patients from deprived communities.

The initiative led by Syed Zafar Abbas Jafri and some like-minded youths in the port city is no less a lifeline for those who are in need as it offers free diagnostic procedures, effectively alleviating the financial burden faced by patients.

The first free privately owned lab in the country’s history is capable of doing 250 blood tests and other services, helping poor patients who are in immense trouble as prices at private labs are unaffordable.

The organization further aimed at widening operations by importing the latest machines that cost tens of million and thus Zafar Abbas, the founder, and General Secretary of JDC urged the prosperous members to come forward and support their noble cause, appreciating those who are lifeline to needy.

To appreciate the noble cause, Faisal Zahid Malik Editor-In-Chief Pakistan Observer visited the facility and commended the free services being provided to those who are in need. Mr Malik expressed hope that JDC continue to make positive impact in the communities as they serve and inspire others to also give back to their communities and help those in need.

JDC Welfare Organisation was founded back in 2009, and the NGO is actively operating in Sindh. The organization worked at front line during Covid pandemic, floods, and is even offering free dialysis centres.

JDC ambulances are also available to transport patients in need to local medical facilities without any charge as they group dedicates life to noble missions.
