Japanese Consul General in Karachi Isomura Toshikazu has emphasized to increase all possible steps for trade between Japan and Pakistan to attract more Japanese investment as it is very low against the potential.
“There was a plan to hold Pakistani exhibitions in Japan throughout the year. If Pakistani investors and industrialists take interest, I would personally recommend them to Japanese companies for all possible cooperation.
The two countries would exchange trade delegations once COVID-19 situation improved and travel restrictions were lifted”, he said during his visit to Korangi Association of Trade and Industry.
According to the KATI statement issued here on Tuesday, KATI President Saleem-uz-Zaman, Senior Vice President Zaki Sharif, Vice President Nighat Awan, Chairman of the Committee on Diplomatic Affairs Rashid Siddiqui, former president Masood Naqi, Ehteshamuddin, FarrukhMazhar, JoharQandhari and Economic Adviser to the Japanese Consul General, Okamoto Yu were also present.
Japanese Consul General said Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) determined the investment in Pakistan, if Pakistani industrialists sent proposals they would be provided with all possible facilities and guidance.
