MUMBAI – Popular Indian actress and Bigg Boss 13 finalist Shehnaaz Gill has finally addressed social media rumours claiming she is related to Indian cricketer Shubman Gill.
Shehnaaz, who rose to fame with her appearance on the reality show Bigg Boss 13, later featured in several hit music videos and made her Bollywood debut alongside Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
The speculations about a possible family connection between Shehnaaz and Shubman began circulating online after fans noticed that both share the same surname “Gill.”
In a recent interview, when asked about the rumour, Shehnaaz responded humorously, saying, “He must be my brother because both of us are from Amritsar and share the surname Gill. Whenever he trends, my name also starts trending.”
Joking further, she added, “I asked myself about it and got the answer that we must be connected somehow. It’s a good thing — he plays really well, and yes, he’s very cute.”
However, Shehnaaz clarified that she has only one sibling, her brother Shehbaz Gill, who is currently appearing in Bigg Boss 19.
