Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has accused the United States of consistently sabotaging diplomatic initiatives in favour of military escalation, though he did not elaborate on the claims.
In a post on X on Friday, Araghchi questioned Washington’s intentions, asking whether the move was “a crude pressure tactic” or the result of “a spoiler once again duping POTUS into another quagmire.”
He added that regardless of the reason, Iran would not yield to external pressure. “Whatever the causes, the outcome is the same: Iranians never bow to pressure,” he wrote.

Referring to a reported CIA assessment, the Iranian foreign minister claimed Tehran’s missile stockpile and launcher capabilities were operating at “120%” rather than “75% as of Feb 28. He also asserted that Iran’s preparedness to defend its people stood at “1,000%.”
