Indian soldier killed after his rifle goes off in Poonch

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier was killed, today, after his own rifle went off in Poonch district of Jammu region.

An official said that the soldier belonging to Rashtriya Rifles (RR) was critically injured in an accidental fire from his service weapon in Mankote area of the district.

He said that the injured soldier was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead on arrival by the doctors.—KMS
