Indian policeman injured in Kathua blast

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian policeman was critically injured in a blast in Kathua district on Thursday.

The blast took place near Border Police Post (BPP) Sanyal in Hiranagar area of the district causing injuries to a policeman. DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua range Shakti Pathak said a policeman has been injured in the blast.

“Entire border village of Sanyal has been cordoned off and searches have been launched,” Pathak said. It, however, couldn’t be ascertained immediately as to whether an object was thrown at the BPP or it was planted. However, sound of the explosion was heard in far off villages, leading to panic among the people.—INP
