Posters have appeared in Srinagar and other areas saying that India is victimizing the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir for demanding the right to self-determination guaranteed to them by the UN Security Council through its several resolutions. According to Kashmir Media Service, the posters displayed by pro-freedom organizations said the lives of IIOJK people are at the mercy of cruel Indian troops. They sought the intervention by the United Nations to allow the people of Kashmir to decide their political future through a plebiscite.
India’s illegal occupation and its brutal acts have worsened daily life of the Kashmiris, the posters said.
