Inauguration ceremony of Akhuwat Mushaida School held


Inauguration Ceremony of Akhuwat Mushaida School of Hospitality and Tourism was held at Akhuwat University Kasur. State Minister for Tourism Mr. Azam Jamil was the chief guest. Chairman TDCP Dr. Sohail Zafar Cheema, Senior Journalist Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Mrs. Masood Bhatti, Chairman Akhuwat Dr. Amjad Saqib and a number of note able guests attended the event.

Principal Akhuwat Mushahida School of Hospitality & Tourism Mr. Bilal Saeed welcomed the guests and presented brief introduction of the Hospitality & Tourism Program in the context of changing socio-economic landscape of Pakistan.

Chairman Akhuwat Dr. Amjad Saqib expressed his gratitude for Mr. Azam Jamil for realizing the dream of building School of Hospitality & Tourism. The chairman Akhuwat thankfully acknowledge and appreciated Mian Mushtaq Javed & his family for their generous contribution of resources for the project.

Chairman Akhuwat thanked the Dr. Sohail Zafar Cheema Chairman Tourism and Development Corporation Punjab for joining the event. Dr. Amjad Saqib offered Chairman TDCP to set up a camp office at Akhuwat University Kasur for promotion of tourism.

He said, “We aim to promote the tourism in Pakistan; we are offering free studies to poor and deserving students from every part of Pakistan. We are also running the world’s largest micro finance loan program; we want complete eradication of poverty from the country”.

He expressed his attention to build one thousand tourist houses in the vicinity of Muree. Tourist Houses will be built under Akhuwat Islamic Microfinance Program through small loans of Rs. 2, 3 million. This project will help in alleviating poverty and promotion of tourism and moreover a means of service to society.

He thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for choosing the best resource-Mr. Azam Jamil- to promote tourism and hospitality sector in Pakistan.
