Imran failed to deliver: Ahsan Iqbal

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday said that former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan gagged media and threw his opponents in prison during his three and a half years in power.

Speaking outside an accountability court (AC) in Islamabad where he had gone in connection with the hearing of Narowal Sports City reference, he said not even a military dictator had been as ruthless as Imran was when he was the country’s prime minister. “He did nothing for the country despite the fact that he was the strongest premier in the country’s history as the ‘establishment’ was his supportive,” he opined.

Ahsan said that Pakistan’s relations with rest of the world soured under the last PTI government.—APP
