Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Police Training College Chung and reviewed the training of anti-riot force. IG Punjab met the anti-riot force officials and issued important instructions in the address. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Anti-Riot Force is the most important field formation of Punjab Police which is responsible for controlling sit-ins, protests and violent demonstrators. IG Punjab said that there will be no reduction in the provision of modern equipment and facilities to the anti-riot force.
All the officials of anti-riot force should complete the training with full effort and sincerity. IG Punjab directed the force that during the training, mock exercise should be conducted regularly to effectively deal with the violent protestors. SP Admin Dr. Bushra Jameel briefed IG Punjab about the training modules of anti-riot force. Dr. Bushra Jameel said that the best professional training is being provided to the anti-riot force to control protests, sit-ins or violent demonstrators, for this purpose anti-riot force has been taught advanced crowd control skills and effective techniques of critical field formations etc. Dr. Bushra Jameel said that after completing the training, the anti-riot officials will leave no stone unturned to protect the life and property of the citizens in the field.
