The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled images of the Under-19 World Cup trophy photographed alongside cheetahs at a national park in Namibia.
The visuals, showing cheetahs posing near the trophy, quickly captured the attention of cricket fans worldwide and added excitement ahead of the tournament’s opening.
The ICC Under-19 World Cup gets underway today with three matches scheduled on the opening day.
In the first fixture, India will face the United States, followed by hosts Zimbabwe taking on Scotland in the second match.
The third encounter of the day will be played between Tanzania and the West Indies.
All three matches will begin at 12:30 pm (Pakistan Standard Time).
Pakistan will start their campaign in the tournament tomorrow, when they take on England in their opening match.
