I-8, 10 subsectors opening today after 14-day lockdown

After de-sealing Karachi Company and G-9 subsectors, the Capital Administration is all set to end lockdown imposed in the sectors I-8/3, I-8/4, I-8 Markaz, I-10/1, I-10/2 and I-10 Markaz on Thursday (today).
These sectors were sealed on June 18 and after receiving promising results of the lockdown there the capital administration has decided to end the 14-day quarantine of the area, said an official of the Islamabad Capital Territory.
The residents of these localities meanwhile, have expressed their joy and relief over the end of the lockdown and at the same appreciated the efforts of the Deputy Commissioner and his team for ensuring the virus completely wiped out from their localities.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Hamza Shafqaat, 14 days will be completed on Thursday midnight and the number of new Covid-19 cases has come to almost zero there.
Islamabad on Wednesday reported 12,912 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 128 deaths meaning in the last 24 hours, 150 new cases and one death were reported.
