ISLAMABAD – Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has been caught attempting to cover up its complicity in global terrorism. Following irrefutable evidence presented by Pakistani delegates showing Afghan soil is being used by deadly terrorist groups, Taliban’s intelligence wing, the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI), launched a disinformation campaign.
Their false claim that an ISKP-linked individual was killed in Pakistan has now been thoroughly debunked. Experts say this is yet another propaganda tactic designed to mask the regime’s role in providing safe haven to terrorist organizations.
Under Taliban rule, Kabul has become a hotspot for international terror networks, including Al-Qaeda, ETIM, TTP, BLA, and ISIS-Khorasan (ISKP). Pakistan now serves as a base from which these groups plan attacks worldwide, while Pakistan continues to bear the brunt of their violence.
High-Profile Captures show Taliban Complicity
In a major intelligence operation earlier this year, Pakistani security forces arrested several top ISKP operatives.
-
Abu Munzir, linked to the Crocus City attack in Russia
-
Sharifullah, accused of the deadly Abbey Gate bombing in Kabul
-
Adil Panjsheri – Arif Adil, handed over to Iran for his role in the Kerman attack
-
Kaka Younis, an Uzbek national
These detainees were promptly transferred to the countries affected by their crimes: Abu Munzir to Russia, Sharifullah to the U.S., and Adil Panjsheri to Iran.
In a joint operation along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, Turkey’s MIT and Pakistan’s ISI captured senior ISKP operative Özgür Altun (Abu Yasir al-Turki). Known for orchestrating logistics and moving fighters and resources across multiple regions, Altun was a key player in sustaining ISKP’s operations.
Verified evidence now exposes the full extent of the Taliban’s deception. Afghan nationals have admitted to recruiting fighters and facilitating ISKP operations, with confessions coming from both Kabul and Nangarhar. Afghanistan has undeniably become a recruitment and operational hub for global terrorism, undermining the regime’s public denials and propaganda.
With Pakistan leading decisive actions against ISKP, the world is witnessing a clear pattern: Afghanistan under Taliban rule is no longer just a failed state, it is a launchpad for terror networks threatening global security.
