Hot, dry weather to prevail in most parts


Mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail in most central and southern parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, rain with wind and thunderstorm is expected in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining areas.

Dust-raising and gusty winds are also expected in Islamabad, plain areas of Punjab and Pothohar region in the afternoon. Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday. According to met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla.
