KARACHI – Massive blow to bike riders as prices of Honda CD 70, CG 125 and other models have been increased after Carbon Levy imposed on imported motorcycle engines after Budget 2025–26.
The additional cost with new taxes has been passed directly to consumers. The most affordable option, the Honda CD 70, now costs Rs159,900, reflecting a Rs2,000 hike. Its variant, the CD 70 Dream, is now priced at Rs170,900, also up by Rs2,000.
Honda Pridor has seen a Rs3,000 increase, bringing its new price to Rs211,900. The popular CG 125 now stands at Rs238,900, while the CG 125 Self-Start and CG 125s Gold have both increased by Rs4,000, with new prices of Rs286,900 and Rs296,900, respectively. Moving into the premium segment, the CB 125F has jumped by Rs6,000 to Rs396,900. CB 150F and its Special Edition have each seen a Rs6,000 increase, priced now at Rs499,900 and Rs503,900, respectively. These hikes reflect ongoing inflationary pressures and rising production costs in the two-wheeler market.
