Hina Javed’s family raises concerns over police investigation

Hina Javeds Horrific Death In Rawalpindi Sparks Shock And Outrage Online

RAWALPINDI – The family of Hina Javed, who was found murdered in Rawalpindi, has expressed serious concerns over the police investigation into her death.

Hina Javed’s brother has written to the chairman of the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) while the bereaved family has also sent letters to the Ministry of Law and Justice and the parliamentary caucus committee, seeking intervention in the case.

In the letters, the family expressed apprehension that the investigation was not being conducted in accordance with the FIR and feared that attempts were being made to conceal the truth about Hina’s murder.

According to the family, the investigation was allegedly being diverted towards a domestic employee instead of focusing on the main suspect.

The family also raised concerns over the handling and preservation of key evidence, saying important pieces of evidence had not been properly secured.

The family demanded that the electronic devices belonging to the main suspect and the domestic employee be immediately subjected to forensic examination to help establish the facts surrounding the murder.

They further called for the case to be transferred to an independent investigation team, arguing that an impartial probe was necessary to determine the circumstances surrounding Hina Javed’s death and identify those responsible.

The family’s concerns come after the domestic employee allegedly confessed to strangling and assaulting Hina while her post-mortem report stated that a bone in her neck was fractured but that the exact cause of death could not be conclusively determined.

The family has urged the relevant authorities to ensure that all evidence is properly preserved and examined and that the investigation proceeds transparently and without influence.
