Security forces have launched ‘Green Waziristan Campaign’ in different educational institutes of tehsil Servekai and Tiarza area of District Upper South Waziristan. During the campaign, youth committees were engaged students of various Schools and Madaris were motivated through lectures for maximum plantation in respective educational institutes.
The Concept of “One Child One Plant ‘ is adopted to cultivate a sense of township & responsibility and to foster greater care of plants. More than 5000 saplings were planted during the campaign season of 2023. The locals of Sarvekai and Tiarza appreciated the initiative of Security Forces for starting the Shin Waziristan campaign (Green Waziristan ) and regarded it as very useful for the environment of District upper South Waziristan. On the other hand people appreciated the positive actions of the security forces and announced to support them in all possible cooperation.
Pakistan Army has always played an important role in various fields other than peace and security, which is commendable, the tribal elders expressed their commitment that they will continue their joint efforts for Green Waziristan and all will actively participate in this campaign.
