Federal Minister for Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Shazia Atta Marri has said that the government will provide relief to people in the budget being announced on Friday.
Talking to reporters in Islamabad on Wednesday, she said 28 billion rupees are being provided to people through Benazir Income Support Programme. She said that six million people have recently been included in ambit of the BISP to curtail poverty.
The Minister for Benazir Income Support Programme said two thousand rupees are being given to those whom monthly income is less than forty thousand.
She said the Prime Minister has taken inputs from people affiliated with different sectors for betterment of economy. Shazia Marri said Imran Khan after being ousted from power is misguiding people and giving statements against the country.
The Minister for Benazir Income Support Programme said past government also imposed restriction on media. —INP
