Punjab Minister for Revenue Malik Muhammad Anwar Khan has said that PTI government was pursuing on its policy of ensuring equal progress and all-out resources were being provided for the uplift and progress of all areas of the province. ‘PTI government is following its agenda of providing relief to the people and ensuring completion of its agenda in letter and spirit’.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting about district development schemes at DC Office, Attock. The meeting was briefed that according to the vision of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, development works were ongoing across the district. For 21 highways schemes Rs 4764 million, for 19 building schemes Rs 922.280 million, for 23 public health schemes Rs 1691.509 million, for one local government scheme Rs 20.684m, for four small dam schemes Rs 2186.594m, for four sports schemes Rs 283.965m, for one mines scheme Rs 40 million and for seventy municipal service schemes Rs 130 million have been allocated.
Detailed discussions also took place about ongoing development projects in the district during the meeting. Elected members while expressing their point of view about ongoing development schemes in their constituencies said that these development schemes were continuing to ensure welfare and prosperity of the masses and the general public will soon get benefits out of them.
On this occasion, the minister directed the concerned officers that they should remain in coordination with elected members with regard to these development schemes and should regularly apprise district administration about such schemes and no compromise should be made on ensuring their high quality.
