Governor welcomes new CG of Japan

Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori welcomed Hattori Masaru, newly designated Consul General of Japan in Karachi at Governor house on Monday. The governor commended the new Consul General for his assignment in Karachi and conveyed best wishes for his tenure.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the multifaceted bilateral relations between Pakistan and Japan, encompassing trade, cultural ties, and investment opportunities.

Governor Tessori expressed that the longstanding relations between Pakistan and Japan have grown stronger over the years and continue to strengthen. Governor Sindh acknowledged Japan’s significant contribution to Karachi’s economic backbone through investments, creating employment opportunities in the city. He emphasized that Karachi holds immense importance as an attractive destination for investment.

The Consul General of Japan Hattori Masaru expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and discussed potential areas of collaboration. The visit included a tour of historical sites, such as the room of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and the construction site of the IT classes being built in collaboration with Japan.
