DUBAI – For students, travelling abroad with heavy luggage and expensive airfares can be major challenge, and now one of world’s leading airlines, Emirates, stepped in with student-friendly offer, making international journeys easier and more affordable with discounted tickets, extra baggage allowance and flexible travel options for young travellers.
Emirates announced travel relief package for students, offering discounted airfares, additional baggage allowance and flexible booking options for young travellers heading abroad for education or vacations.
Under newly launched student offer, passengers aged 16 to 31 years can enjoy up to 10% discounts on Emirates Economy Class tickets, while travellers booking Premium Economy and Business Class seats can avail savings of up to 5% on eligible fares. The special offer covers students travelling to more than 140 destinations worldwide, making international journeys more affordable for those pursuing studies abroad or planning holiday trips.
Students can unlock the benefits by using the promotional code “STUDENT” while making bookings, with the offer available for reservations made until March 31, 2027.
Adding further value, eligible students will also receive extra baggage benefits, allowing them to carry an additional 10 kilograms of luggage or one extra bag, depending on the baggage rules applicable to their route. Emirates clarified that standard baggage policies will continue to apply for flights operating to and from the United States and Canada.
The airline also introduced greater travel flexibility, allowing students to modify their bookings if their plans change, although specific conditions for flight changes will depend on applicable fare rules.
With thousands of students travelling internationally every year for higher education, Emirates’ latest initiative is expected to provide significant financial relief and greater convenience for young passengers managing the challenges of overseas travel.
