PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved an increase in the House Requisition Allowance for employees serving in the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Governor’s Secretariat.
According to a notification issued by the provincial Finance Department, the revised allowance will apply to all employees and officers from Grade 3 to Grade 22. The new rates have taken effect from July 1, 2026.
Under the revised structure, employees in Grades 3 to 6 will receive a monthly allowance of Rs6,000, while those in Grades 7 to 10 will receive Rs9,000. Employees in Grades 11 to 13 will be paid Rs13,000, and those in Grades 14 and 15 will receive Rs16,000 per month.
The notification further states that Grade 16 employees will receive Rs18,000 each month. Officers in Grades 17 and 18 will be entitled to Rs21,000, while Grade 19 officers will receive Rs28,000. The monthly allowance has been fixed at Rs35,000 for Grade 20, Rs42,000 for Grade 21 and Rs52,000 for Grade 22 officers.
Separately, the provincial government has also increased the Special Conveyance Allowance for government employees with disabilities. A separate notification issued by the Finance Department states that the monthly allowance has been raised from Rs6,000 to Rs10,000.
The revised Special Conveyance Allowance is also effective from July 1, 2026, providing enhanced financial support to eligible government employees with disabilities across the province.
