Gold Prices Near Record High In Pakistan Amid Surge In Global Market

KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a decline in line with dropping rates in international market on Friday, 21 November 2025.

As reported by the All Pakistan Saraafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold stood at Rs426,562 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams stood at Rs365,708.

Gold continues to be one of the world’s most valued precious metals, prized for its rarity, resilience, and reputation as a dependable asset during times of financial instability. It is available for trading in various formats, including physical bullion, futures contracts, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Historically, investors have viewed gold as a safeguard against inflation and currency volatility. Key global markets for gold trading include London, New York, and Shanghai, with its price largely shaped by changes in interest rates, currency movements, and international political or economic events.
