KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed another hike on June 12, amid upward trend in the international market, with per tola rate hovering at Rs356,900.
Data shared by Saraffa Association shows price of gold per tola surged by Rs4,000 reach Rs356,900, while price of 10 grams of bullion increased by Rs3,430 to settle at Rs305,984.

This sharp rise comes a day after a modest increase of Rs600 was recorded on Wednesday, pushing the gold rate to Rs352,900 per tola. The international gold market also reported gains, with prices climbing by $30 to reach $3,375 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium, as shared by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged. The rate for one tola of silver stood steady at Rs3,745.
Jewellers attribute the consistent rise in gold prices to global economic uncertainties and growing investor interest in safe-haven assets. Analysts suggest that fluctuations in the international market and currency exchange rates will continue to influence local gold prices in the coming days.
