KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan suffered another setback in Pakistan as fresh decline in the international bullion market triggered another drop in domestic rates.
The price of 24-karat gold plunged Rs2,400 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs463,136. The decline also hit the 10-gram market, where the price fell Rs2,058 to Rs397,064.

The pressure on local prices came as international gold also weakened. The global bullion rate dropped $24 per ounce, settling at $4,406 per ounce.
The latest fall extends a losing streak in the domestic gold market. On Saturday, gold had already shed Rs3,600 per tola, with the price closing at Rs465,536.
Silver prices also moved lower on Monday, declining Rs39 per tola to reach Rs7,059.
