KARACHI – Gold inched toward the Rs3.5lac mark after a Rs6,600 major price hike in Pakistan on Wednesday.
Data shared by Saraffa Association shows gold prices witnessed a dramatic surge in domestic and international markets, marking one of the most significant single-day increases in recent months. With the price of 24-karat gold moving up by Rs6,600 per tola, reaching an all-time high of Rs349,400, the rate for 10 grams gold jumped by Rs5,659 to Rs299,554.

The global bullion market also followed a bullish trend, with gold prices increasing by $66 per ounce, pushing the international rate to $3,310.
Silver prices in Pakistan were not far behind in this upward trajectory. The price of 24-karat silver per tola rose by Rs56 to reach Rs3,466, while 10 grams of silver climbed to Rs2,971.
