Galaxy Z Trifold Samsung Sets New Benchmark By Launching Multi Folding Phone

Samsung Electronics has officially announced the launch of the Galaxy Z TriFold, marking a significant milestone in the company’s decade-long journey of innovation in the foldable phone category. With this new device, Samsung continues to lead the way in shaping the future of mobile devices, designed specifically for the mobile AI era.

The Galaxy Z TriFold showcases Samsung’s cutting-edge foldable technology, offering a remarkable multi-folding design that meets the demands of users looking for both portability and performance.

When fully unfolded, the device reveals a stunning 10-inch display, offering users an immersive experience that is ideal for both productivity tasks and cinematic entertainment.

Sleek and Powerful Design

Measuring just 3.9 mm at its thinnest point, the Galaxy Z TriFold combines portability with flagship-level performance. Powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, it provides ultra-fast processing speeds and seamless multitasking. The device is equipped with a 200 MP camera, ensuring high-quality photography, and features the largest battery Samsung has ever included in a foldable device — a 5,600 mAh three-cell battery system spread across the three panels. This arrangement guarantees consistent power delivery and extended battery life throughout the day.

Enhanced Hinge Mechanism

Drawing on years of expertise in foldable technology, Samsung introduces the Armor FlexHinge, the most advanced hinge system ever developed for a foldable phone. The dual-rail structure of the hinge ensures smoother, more stable folding, accommodating varying weight and component distribution. The design also allows the panels to meet with minimal gaps, contributing to a thinner and more compact device.

Durability and Advanced Materials

The Galaxy Z TriFold is built to last, featuring a titanium hinge housing that enhances the durability of the folding mechanism. Additionally, the device’s frame is constructed with Advanced Armor Aluminum, a high-strength alloy that adds rigidity without adding bulk. The back panel is made from ceramic-glass fiber-reinforced polymer, providing additional protection against cracks and wear over time.

Reinforced Display Technology

Samsung has revamped the foldable display with a new shock-absorbing layer, ensuring better resistance to wear and tear across the dual-folding device. The 10-inch screen folds twice into a compact size without compromising the display’s integrity, providing users with an optimal viewing experience when unfolded.

Rigorous Quality Assurance

Every Galaxy Z TriFold undergoes strict quality checks, including CT scanning of the printed circuit board to ensure precise manufacturing, and laser scanning to verify the correct alignment of internal components. This attention to detail guarantees the device’s reliability and long-lasting performance.

Availability

The Galaxy Z TriFold will first be available for purchase in South Korea on December 12, 2025, followed by a global rollout to other key markets, including China, Taiwan, Singapore, UAE, and the United States. Samsung will also offer the device at select retail stores in each launch region, allowing customers to experience the device hands-on and receive in-store assistance before making their purchase.
