RISALPUR – Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu praised the Pakistan Air Force’s performance during Operation Bunyanun Marsoos, revealing the force’s success in overpowering the enemy.
Addressing the graduation parade ceremony at the Risalpur academy, he emphasized that on May 10, the PAF successfully targeted and disabled the enemy’s defense systems, marking a major achievement in the ongoing operation.
Sidhu described the Operation Bunyanun Marsoos as a demonstration of Pakistan’s strength in cyber warfare, where the PAF proved its superiority.
He further reflected on the night of May 6 and 7, when Pakistan’s sovereignty was challenged. The PAF responded decisively, shooting down enemy fighter jets, including the Rafale, a highly advanced combat aircraft.
Sidhu lauded the PAF’s exceptional performance, noting that the force had not only defended the country’s airspace but also asserted its dominance in modern warfare strategies.
Air Chief Marshal Sidhu’s speech highlighted that the success of these operations was a testament to the professionalism and readiness of Pakistan’s air forces, reinforcing the PAF’s role as a critical defense pillar for the nation.
The parade featured cadets from several key courses, including 151 GD(P), 97 Engineering, and the 108th Air Defence Course. Additionally, cadets from the Navigation Alpha, Admin and Special Duties, and 11 Logistics courses are also participating.
The graduation of cadets from the Combat Support and the 98th EC Royal Saudi Air Force courses also attended the event.
PAF fighter jets and the Sherdil Aerobatics team are set to perform a flypast, displaying their skills.
