District Bait-ul-Mal Committee Hafizabad accorded approval of funds to distribute financial assistant among deserving and poor people. Deputy Director Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Hafizabad presided over the meeting while Chairman Bait-ul-Mal Committee Hakeem FadaHussainBhatti while members of committee MianAkhtar, Abdul JabbarRaza, HameemGhulam Mustafa, Asif Sharif, CharnMaseh, Madam Nighat Khan participated the meeting.
Hakeem FadaHussainBhatti informed the meeting that approved grant would be disbursed among deserving people as financial assistance, marriage grant, student grant and treatment grant before Eid-ul-Azha.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Sundas Irshad visited sacrificial animal sale point Housing Colony Sukheki Road and reviewed arrangements made by the different departments for providing basic facilities to traders and buyers. ADCG/Administrator MC Hamadullah and other offices were accompanied by the DC.
DC directed the veterinary officers and officials to ensure spray to all animal carried at sales points to save animals from Congo Virus. She also directed the Municipal Officers to stop entry of sacrificial animal in markets, streets other congested areas of the city and ensure only selling and buying of sacrificial animals at fixed sales points.
ADCG briefed the DC that potable water, washrooms were also established at sales points for people while drinking water for animals, tents, lighting and other necessary facilities were available in the sales points.
