MEERUT – A wedding turned into full-blown scandal this week as a man’s first wife stormed stage at his second marriage, leaving guests stunned.
The groom, Vinay Anand Sharma, was celebrating his second wedding when his first wife, Reshma, arrived with her family and disrupted the ceremony. Reshma publicly accused Vinay of breaking the law by marrying again while still legally married to her.
She reportedly showed wedding guests pictures of their own marriage and claimed that Vinay had withdrawn a large sum of money from her bank account. Shockingly, she also alleged that he had financed a car in her name without her consent.
Vinay and Reshma tied knot in 2022 in a traditional wedding ceremony in the presence of both families. However, their relationship soured within months, and they filed for divorce. The legal proceedings are still ongoing, meaning the couple is not yet officially divorced.
The groom recently returned to his village, where his family organized second wedding with full fanfare, unaware that Reshma would learn of it. Her sudden arrival stopped the ceremony in its tracks, creating panic and confusion among the wedding guests.
Police were called to scene and took both the groom and first wife to station. Authorities confirmed that since divorce case is still pending, Vine’s second marriage cannot legally proceed until his first marriage is officially dissolved.
The shocking incident now gone viral on social media, with many questioning the groom’s audacity and praising Reshma for confronting him publicly.
