LAHORE – Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Ali has signed a short-term multi-format contract with English county side Nottinghamshire for the final two months of the 2026 domestic season.
The 33-year-old pacer is scheduled to arrive in England at the beginning of August and will represent Nottinghamshire in both the County Championship and the Metro Bank One-Day Cup until the conclusion of the season.
Mohammad Ali has taken over 300 wickets in his career at an impressive average of 24.65 and has played for Pakistan across all three formats. His last international appearance came in March last year in a One-Day International against New Zealand.
Speaking about the deal, Mohammad Ali said, “I am extremely happy to join Nottinghamshire. I have always wanted to play county cricket and gain experience in English conditions, so I am very excited about this opportunity.”
