FAISALABAD – Police have registered a case against a woman who allegedly severed her husband’s tongue with her teeth during a domestic dispute in the MamunKanjan area in Faisalabad district.
The incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, when the woman attacked her husband after a quarrel.
The husband was severely injured and had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment. The woman’s brother-in-law filed a complaint, leading to the registration of a case against her. However, authorities have not yet been able to arrest the suspect.

The couple had been married for seven months, and the husband, who works in Lahore, had recently returned home after being away for 15 days. It is believed that the ongoing domestic issues escalated into this violent confrontation.
The case has sparked concerns regarding the rising number of domestic violence incidents in the region. Authorities are continuing their investigation while efforts are underway to apprehend the woman involved in the assault.
