Experts stress multiple reforms for required economic growth

The economic experts have said that the economic growth required by the country is not possible without making tax collection 40 percent of GDP.

They were addressing a seminar called here on Sunday for placing multiple reforms including adopting of professional tax advisory system at mass scale to shun the doors of scourge of tax evasion.

The seminar entitled “Importance and Need of Professional Tax Advisors in the Promotion of Tax Culture” was held here in a local hotel under the auspices of Knight Human Management (KHM) Shalaan GL Pakistan in collaboration with Government College Women University and Institute of Tax Training.

Vice Chancellor of GC Women University Dr. Robina Farooq, Head of Sociology Sajida Perveen, Registrar Asif A. Malik, Dr. Syeda Samina, Director of student consultancy KHM Majid Bashir, Directors of Tax Training Institute Mr. Mehdi, Ahmed Abdullah and others attended the seminar.
