Diesel is expected to jump by Rs 9.60 hike per litre, while petrol prices could move up by about Rs2 per litre. Kerosene oil is not far behind, potentially rising Rs 8.82 per litre, and light diesel oil may jump Rs 7.15 per litre.
Expected Petrol Price November 2025
| Product | Current Price | Expected Hike | Expected Price |
| Petrol | 265.45 | 2.00 | 267.45 |
| Diesel | 278.44 | 9.60 | 288.04 |
Once implemented, petrol will cost Rs 263.49 per litre, and diesel will reach Rs 288.04 per litre—a record high for consumers already grappling with inflation.
Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will submit its recommendations to the federal government on Saturday. The final approval will come from the Prime Minister, after which the Ministry of Finance will release an official notification announcing the revised rates.
Meanwhile, the global oil market is undergoing dramatic shifts. Oil prices tumbled sharply this week after OPEC forecasted a market balance by next year, reversing its earlier prediction of a supply deficit.
Brent crude moved down to $62.77 per barrel, while WTI dropped 4.1% to $58.55. Despite global demand expected to grow by 1.6 million barrels per day, the increase is insufficient to tighten supply, pointing to relatively stable oil market conditions through the mid-2020s.
