The Election Commission has taken notice of the appointment of District Administrator, and wrote a letter to the Secretary Local Government.In the letter, EC asked to secretary that Election schedule is going on in Hyderabadabad and Karachi.
Transfer and postings are prohibited during the process. Hence, notification of transfer of officers should be withdrawn. And to be postponed till the end of local body elections (2nd phase). The Sindh government had appointed administrators in Hyderabad, Korangi and East district yesterday.
