In the occasion of Labour Day, Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman Altaf Shakoor demanded giving all their due rights to labours and implementing minimum wages in letter and spirit. He said workers are the backbone of our economy and without improving their lot the national economy could not be augmented.
He said the government and private sector should take utmost efforts to give workers better facilities and all their due rights. He asked for a universal social security cover for all citizens including labours.
