DG CAA issues orders for reduced/uniform pricing of consumers

Secretary Aviation/Director General Civil Aviation Authority Shah Rukh Nusrat presided over the Executive Committee meeting of Civil Aviation Authority. He issued orders for reduced / uniform pricing of consumers items on all airports of Pakistan in terms of convenience for travelling passengers and meeter-n-greeters. Afterwards, consumers items will be available at the reduced / controlling rates. The shopkeepers at the airports will clearly list the prices and action will be taken against the vendors receiving additional charges at the airports. In addition, baggage wrapping prices have also been reduced from Rs. 400 to Rs. 50 per bag. Travelers will be allowed to wrap their bags at their discretion. All Chief Executive Officers / Airport Managers have been issued instructions to guarantee new rate list and ensure the sale of goods accordingly and take action against the offending shopkeepers.
