A court in the City on Wednesday indicted actress Saba Qamar and singer Bilal Saeed for shooting and making a dance video in Masjid Wazir Khan.

Both the artistes, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges. The court summoned the witnesses for recording their statements on the next hearing and adjourned the case till October 14.

Burqa-clad Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed appeared in the court, which was presided over by Judicial Magistrate Javeria Munir Bhatti.

Last month, the court had issued arrest warrants for Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed for not appearing in the court in connection with their dance video.

The Judicial Magistrate had issued the arrest warrants for both the artistes for not following the court orders for appearance.

The court had summoned Saba and Bilal as their challan was presented but both of them did not appear.

However, the court later cancelled the arrest warrants as both the artistes promised to appear before it. The Akbari Gate Police had registered the case of dancing in the mosque and had already presented the challan in the court.
