The All Parties Hurriyat Conference constituents, Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) and Tehreek-e-Muzahamat, have strongly condemned the custodial killing of three civilians in Baffliaz area of Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The DFP spokesman, advocate Arshad Iqbal, in a statement issued in Srinagar, terming the incident as the worst example of Indian state terrorism, said that the three civilians were subjected to third degree torture at a military camp by the Indian troops.

He said video clips of the Indian personnel, torturing Kashmiri youth, speaks volumes about the inhuman treatment Kashmiris were being faced. He said the custodial killing serves as an eye-opener for the world that has been watching the situation in Kashmir like a silent spectator.

Jailed Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Siddiqui in a message from Srinagar Central Jail termed the killing of three civilians as a grim reminder of India’s brutalities inflicted upon the subjugated people of Kashmir since 1947.

He said these three killings have only added to the long list of thousands of innocent people who have been killed brutally in custody. He said people of Kashmir stand shoulder to shoulder with their brethren in Pir Panjal in this hour of grief and sorrow.—KMS
