Christian priests briefed on activities of IIUI

Headed by Arch Bishop Dr. Joseph Arshad, a delegation of Christian priests visited Islamic Research Institute, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) on Tuesday.

A brief presentation on the functions and activities of Islamic Research Institute was given to the delegation.

Similarly, they were provided the information related to Paigham-e-Pakistan. The delegation was also briefed about Saiban-e-Pakistan initiative and their views and comments were sorted on the draft of Saiban-e-Pakistan.

Bishop Joseph Arshad thanked Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Director General, IRI for arranging this visit.

He was of the view that Paigham-e-Pakistan is a right and strong initiative of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and this initiative is actually paving way towards the prosperous future of Pakistan.

At the end of the visit, souvenirs were distributed and the delegation also visited IRI’s Historical Gallery.
