Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control and Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar Chawla has asked the officers and officials to speed up the recovery of professional tax during current financial year and ensure issuance of challans, recovery and updation in developing system of all four Professional Division.
This he said while presiding over a meeting here in his office on Saturday. Secretary Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Abdul Haleem Shaikh, Director General Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, Director Excise and Taxation Iqbal Ahmed Leghari, Additional Director Shabana Pervaiz and other officers also attended the meeting.
Mukesh Kumar Chawla said, ‘All officers/officials, posted for Professional Tax Collection , should be mobilized and guided to chalk out strategies for boost up the recovery of Professional Tax in achieving the desired assigned targets for the financial year 2019-20 ‘.
