ISLAMABAD – Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will address a press conference at the party’s Mansehra Secretariat on Wednesday (today).
PTI made the announcement through its official page on Facebook.
The announcement confirmed that Bushra Bibi and KP CM both had returned to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after end of the protest in Islamabad.
Earlier, the government authorities launched a crackdown against the PTI protesters at D-Chowk and pushed them back to disperse from the scene.
Some reports emerged that Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur were near Kulsoom Plaza in Islamabad’s Blue Area and as the operation commenced, both fled the location.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that the efforts are underway to detain Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur.
