In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, journalist Sajad Gul has been booked under black law Public Safety Act (PSA) and has been subse-quently shifted to Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Inspec-tor-General of Police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar, has confirmed to the media that Gul has been booked under PSA. “He (Gul) has been booked under PSA and is at Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu,” he added.
Gul, who had been working as a trainee reporter at The Kashmir Walla since last December, was on Saturday granted conditional bail by a local court in Bandipora district in a ridiculous case registered against him for hatching “criminal conspiracy”.
The case was against his social media account being used to disseminate information “against the national interests” of India.—KMS
