BJP vitiating atmosphere of peace in IIOJK: Rajni Patil

The Indian National Congress has said that Bharatiya Janata Party has vitiated the atmosphere of peace and harmony in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) in-charge for IIOJK, Rajni Patil, talking to reporters in Jammu said, BJP has vitiated the atmosphere of peace, harmony and progress and downgraded the status of the territory against the wishes of people.

She said that the people of IIOJK were fed up with the BJP’s poor performance and opportunistic and wrong policies.

Earlier addressing party workers at Shakti Nagar in Udhampur, Patil said that the power hungry BJP’s divisive and opportunistic politics had destroyed and vitiated the atmosphere of peace, harmony and progress and created unrest in society.

The President of IIOJK chapter of Congress, GA Mir, said the ongoing delimitation exercise to redraw assembly constituencies in IIOJK is biased and has caused more injustice. He said the BJP failed the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the sake of power but it will badly fail in its mission to grab power through unfair means.—KMS
