The cryptocurrency market remained in tight grip of bears on Thursday, with market capitalisation losing 2.5 percent to reach $1.31 trillion.
The largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin’s (BTC) price slipped 1.3 percent to $29,446. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of the biggest crypto has reached $561 billion. Bitcoin has shed 1.9 percent of its value over the last seven days.
Following Monday’s drop to $29,000, Bitcoin reacted well and reclaimed the coveted $30,000 line on Tuesday; however, it has been edging lower during the last two days. Last week’s rollercoaster, which led to BTC creating history with its seven consecutive weekly candles closed in the red.—TLTP
