ISLAMABAD – Bilal Azhar Kayani has been given the additional portfolio of Minister of State for Finance.
The Cabinet Division has issued a notification stating that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assigned Bilal Azhar Kayani the additional responsibility.
It further said in the notification that this appointment will take effect immediately.
It is recalled that Bilal Azhar Kayani is already serving as Minister of State for Railways and the Head of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit.

Bilal Azhar Kayani is a Pakistani politician affiliated with the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz). He currently holds the position of Minister of State for Railways and has recently been assigned the additional portfolio of Minister of State for Finance.
A native of Jhelum, Kayani studied Economics at University College London. Known for his role in economic policy, he previously served as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Coordinator for Economy and Energy. Kayani has played an active part in reforms within Pakistan Railways and is also leading efforts on sustainable development through parliamentary initiatives.
