KARACHI – Popular Pakistani singer Asim Azhar and actress Meerub Ali on Thursday officially parted ways as they ended their engagement that started in 2022.
Taking to Instagram story, Asim Azhar addressed his fans directly, sharing the personal update with transparency and sincerity.
“We want to share something personal with you, as we believe our fans and friends have the right to know,” he wrote.
Asim revealed that after much thought and mutual understanding, he and Meerub have decided to go their separate ways. “Although we shared beautiful moments and looked forward to a future together, life doesn’t always go according to our plans,” he stated. “We continue to hold great respect for each other and for our families, and that will never change.”
The singer also appealed to the fans and the media to respect their privacy during this time.
