The Commissioner Gujranwala Division, Mansoor Qadir visited Hafizabad. He inspected District Headquarter Hospital, urea fertilizer sale points, district jail, markets and shops to review provision of subsidiary flour prices of other essentially commodities in the markets and shops. Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Allah Ditta Warraich, ADCR Umer Farooq Warraich, ADCG Hamid Nasir Goraya, AC Rab Nawaz and other officers were also accompanied by him.
During the visit of DHQ hospital, Manssor Qadir inspected emergency, children emergency, medical ward, surgical ward and other departments and checked treatment facilities being provided to patients in the hospital.
He directed the hospital administration to make functional all air conditioners in all wards of the hospital and ensure hundred percent medicinal free of the cost to patients in emergency. No any negligence in provision of treatment and other facilities to patients will be tolerated at all, he warned.
The Commissioner visited district jail and reviewed standard of different facilities being provided jail inmates. He also visited Vaneki Tarar urea fertilizer sale point and checked sale of fertilizer on fixed price by the government and other arrangement.
He said that government had waived off condition of producing copy of ownership right of land (fird) for purchasing fertilizer and now patwari and other staff will be available at sales points for identification of farmers. He appreciated the arrangements made by the district administration at fertilizer sales points.
